Yes, that's right, I'm out of things to read, and somewhat desperate. If you have something that you think I would like to read please respond with it here.
For those of you who don't know my tastes, and would like to get a better idea of what I have and have not already read and enjoyed, I will include a list of my favorite authors in a cut, to follow. I will try to keep it concise, but I have read and enjoyed a lot of books, so please bear with me. The nice thing about this list is that it will also serve as my recommendations to anyone looking for a good read.

-Mono Diablo ("Monkey Devil")
-Pablo con Carne ("Frank with Meat")

And now for something completely different.
And somber.
I just found out that Michael Buonauro killed himself. Not many people know who that is, and that depresses me.
He wrote what I believe to be one of the best superhero stories ever. He submitted his idea to Marvel for publishing a little over a year ago now. Unfortunately, the story was never published, nore was he ever contacted about the work.
If you like this sort of thing (or are even vaguely interested), you should go here and read the story. You will not regret the time you spend there. |
